I transferred care to La Jolla Village Smiles from another dental practice. I was impressed by how up to date this practice is with their equipment. I required an onlay and crown (2 separate visits). Dr. Alvarado did an excellent job with both. He explained the issues thoroughly and performed the procedures with excellence - pain free (thanks to numbing meds), high quality, and able to create the crown in site so no need to return for the crown. In addition, Dr. Alvarado is very friendly and personable. Special mention regarding the staff: front desk is so friendly - especially Zach, dental hygienist Marta is incredible because she was a wealth of information and did a thorough job with my deep clean, dental hygienist Gabby was also wonderful and thorough. This practice focuses a lot on gum disease treatment, and prevention. I am glad I found this practice. I highly recommend it.
